Dear Actionmarguerite Residents and Families,

Thursday, we sent a communication regarding the urgent repair of a gas line at Actionmarguerite St. Boniface (185 Despins). This meant that we had to shut the line providing natural gas to our kitchen and laundry areas. Friday, a temporary line was installed, and our services will gradually be reinstated.

Food Services

Our food services team will revert back to their regular menu on Monday, October 24.

Laundry Services

Our laundry service will resume regular operations as of Saturday, October 21.

Parking

Our arrangement with the City of Winnipeg to lift parking restrictions on nearby streets will remain in place until October 24 inclusive on Despins, Valade, Jeanne d’Arc, and Louis Riel Street. Should the repair work last longer and our visitor parking remain affected we will see if we can extend this arrangement. Please ensure that our accessible parking stalls remain available for those who need them.

As for the complete repairs of the gas line, we do not yet know when they will be completed. As always, we will keep you informed of developments.
