Charitable giving has contributed millions of dollars towards our capital projects, improving the quality of life of our residents through many important enhancements.

• $350,000 capital contribution to the $3-million dining room project
• $350,000 roadway expansion project
• $80,000 renovation of AB Wing resident rooms
• $30,000 towards the development of a regional behavioural unit
• $100,000 contribution to the purchase and renovation of bathtubs

450 River Road

• $950,000 towards the $6.5-million construction of a new 39-bed Alzheimer unit
• $100,000 contribution to the purchase and renovation of bathtubs
• $50,000 towards renovating the courtyard

1149 Leila Avenue

• Sponsorship of the Spiritual Care Program
• Creation of a patio at the front entrance
• Installation of a waterfall and water fountain
• Renovation of the kitchenettes on the units
• Creation of the Memory Lane patio and walkways
• Redecoration of the front lobby
• Creation of Baba’s Dining Room
• Partial funding towards the renovation of the tub rooms
• Provision of sinks and countertops in each resident’s bathroom
• Installation of windowsills, blinds and valances in each resident’s room
• Supplying assistive devices that hearing impaired residents can wear in the chapel
• Provision of sit-to-stand lift and the walk-assist that help residents maintain independence
• Equipping the Multi-Purpose Room with new tables and chairs
• Addition of a sound system for use outdoors
• Installation of window dressings, pendants, and chairs in the dining room
• Installation of big screen TVs in the lounges
• Decoration of common spaces with the addition of artwork throughout the residence
• Construction and installation of the outdoor cross in Memory Lane
