1.0 FTE – full-time – days, currently 08:15 – 16:45 – The Training, Staff Development Administrative Assistant coordinates and supports the work of Staff Development activities for Actionmarguerite. The position reports to the Manager of Training, Staff Development and Safety and will work closely with Management and Clinical Teams and all staff. The incumbent will provide support to all Actionmarguerite sites. The person in this role has a keen understanding of Actionmarguerite’s training and educational needs and is able prioritize a broad range of tasks, execute on all the planning details for training events and demonstrates the ability to take initiative and lead the administrative coordination of an Actionmarguerite Academy. The shared team goal for the staff development program is to be devoted to delivering quality learning opportunities in support of a strong, happy and healthy workforce.
Performs all duties in accordance with established health and safety regulations/guidelines, policies and procedures (i.e. utilizing personal, protective equipment as per safe work procedures). Notifies management or supervisor of all occurrences, injuries, illnesses or safety and health concerns which are likely to harm themselves, their co-workers, or any others who enter the premises.
