Dear Residents and Families,

We are writing today to share an update regarding the status of the current outbreaks at Actionmarguerite St. Boniface and Actionmarguerite St. Joseph.

Outbreak Status

Actionmarguerite St. Boniface

  • We are glad to report that there have been no new cases since our last update, leaving the total of residents who tested positive for COVID-19 on 4AB at three (3).
  • Although the outbreak cannot yet be declared over, general visits will resume as of tomorrow, Saturday, August 27. All visitors enter at their own risk and must continue to wear masks during the entirety of their visit.

  • One (1) additional resident has tested positive for COVID-19 on Unit 2 for a total of three (3) residents who have tested positive for COVID-19.
  • General visits continue to be suspended until further notice for residents living on Unit 2.
  • Designated family caregivers (essential visitors) are welcome to visit Unit 2 at their own risk and are asked to wear the personal protective equipment provided during the entirety of their visit.

Actionmarguerite St. Vital

  • No outbreak

Reminders:

  • A member of the care team will communicate with the resident’s primary contact should your loved one be identified as a high-risk contact for COVID-19.
  • Please wear a mask before entering the building. Our greeters will then provide you with a new medical-grade mask in order to proceed with your visit.
  • Recognizing the importance of family presence, up to 4 Designated Family Caregivers (essential visitors) may be identified (up from 2). Only 2 visitors may visit in a resident’s room at a time. In case of an outbreak on your loved one’s unit, only essential visitors will be allowed to visit. Please contact the following individuals to confirm additional essential visitors:
