Dear Residents and Families,
We all wish that we would not find ourselves in outbreak situations. We are not alone. There are currently 15 long-term care centres experiencing outbreaks at the present time. Evidently, the virus that causes COVID-19 is still circulating in our community. Read on for the most recent updates at Actionmarguerite.
Outbreak Status
Actionmarguerite St. Boniface
- No additional residents have tested positive for COVID-19.
- The outbreak on 3ABC has been declared over as of today. We are however saddened to share that a resident has died related to this outbreak. It is with much love that we have offered the family our condolences.
- General visits will resume on 3ABC as of tomorrow, May 13th.
- One (1) employee at Actionmarguerite St. Boniface is positive and is currently isolating.
Actionmarguerite St. Vital
- We continue to have two (2) outbreaks, one on 1st floor and one on 2nd floor.
- Since our last update, ten (10) additional residents have tested positive on 1st floor and two (2) have recovered.

- General visits are suspended for all units at Actionmarguerite St. Vital.
- Designated family caregivers (essential visitors) are welcome to visit residents on all units at their own risk and are asked to wear the personal protective equipment provided during the entirety of their visit.
- There are currently twelve (12) staff who are positive and are currently isolating.
Actionmarguerite St. Joseph
Four (4) additional residents have tested positive. We are saddened to share with you that three (3) COVID-recovered residents have died linked to the outbreaks. Our heartfelt condolences have been offered to the families as they live their grief. A total of thirty-two (32) residents have recovered, leaving a total of thirteen (13) active cases.

Please remember to maintain your mask and eye protection during the entirety of your visit and to wash your hands thoroughly and frequently.
