Dear Actionmarguerite Families,
Spring has officially arrived with its promise of warmer and brighter days. As the saying goes, “Spring is a lovely reminder of how beautiful change can truly be”. This is especially true for Actionmarguerite St. Vital in this update as we will be able to expand essential visits to the 1400 (green) wing of Unité Marguerite. See the update below for more details.
Outbreak Status
Actionmarguerite St. Vital – Unité Marguerite (a specialized and secured unit located on the 1st floor for persons living with dementia)
- The outbreak was declared for both the 1400 (green) and 1500 (pink) wings.
- One (1) death has been linked to this outbreak.
- Twenty-eight (28) residents are deemed recovered.
- No additional residents have tested positive for a total of 4 active cases.
- Eight (8) staff members have tested positive; and all of them are recovered.
- Visits (essential and general) are suspended until further notice for the 1500 (pink) wing of Unité Marguerite.
- Effective immediately, essential visits to the 1400 (green) wing can resume as all residents on this wing are deemed recovered.
Actionmarguerite St. Joseph
- No current outbreak.
Actionmarguerite St. Boniface
- No current outbreak.
