Dear Actionmarguerite Families,

COVID-19 Update #10 – January 17, 2022
Actionmarguerite St. Boniface, Actionmarguerite St. Joseph, Actionmarguerite St. Vital

Unfortunately, today we are announcing additional deaths linked to the COVID-19 outbreaks – one (1) resident lived at Actionmarguerite St. Joseph and two (2) at Actionmarguerite St. Boniface. All of us at Actionmarguerite extend our condolences to the families and our hearts go out to all who are grieving at this time. Additional updates are as follows:

Outbreak status

Actionmarguerite St. Boniface

    • Outbreaks are active on all units. A resident on 3DE has now tested positive, which means that 3DE is now also an outbreak unit.
    • Two (2) deaths have been linked to the outbreaks.
    • Eighteen (18) residents have been deemed recovered.
    • Nine (9) additional residents have tested positive for a total of 56 active cases.
    • Sixty-eight (68) staff members have tested positive; and fifty-seven (57) of them have since recovered.

Actionmarguerite St. Vital

    • Two (2) units have active outbreaks (2nd floor & 3rd floor).
    • One (1) death has been linked to an outbreak.
    • Sixteen (16) residents have been deemed recovered.
    • One (1) additional resident has tested positive for a total of twelve (12) active cases.
    • Twenty-five (25) staff members have tested positive; and twenty (20) of them have since recovered.

Actionmarguerite St. Joseph

    • One (1) unit has an active outbreak (1st floor).
    • One (1) death has been linked to the outbreak.
    • One (1) resident has been deemed recovered.
    • No additional residents have tested positive for a total of two (2) active cases.
    • Seventeen (17) staff members have tested positive; and fourteen (14) have since recovered.
