Dear Actionmarguerite Families,

A new public health order requires all employees to either be fully vaccinated or provide a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours of their shift, effective October 18, 2021. I am pleased to confirm that the majority of Actionmarguerite employees are fully vaccinated or will soon be. Testing is in place on site so that employees who are not yet vaccinated can provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test. All volunteers, students, and contractors also need to show proof of vaccination before entry.

We must all continue to be vigilant about symptoms. Even if you are vaccinated, you can still catch COVID-19 and pass it to others, no matter how mild your symptoms may be. Remember to stay home when sick and book a COVID-19 test if you have symptoms.

Let us all continue to practice the additional measures that are keeping us safe:

• Fully wearing our masks and ensuring that they cover the nose and mouth at all times.
• Washing or sanitizing our hands well and often.
• Ensuring a physical distance as much as possible.
• Practicing everyday kindness.

In addition to being vaccinated, all these measures are necessary and in the best interests of protecting the people we support at Actionmarguerite, our staff and families.
