Dear Actionmarguerite Residents and Families,
Réseau Compassion Network (RCN) is celebrating 25 years, and Actionmarguerite is a proud member!
This special quarter-century milestone will be marked throughout the year with numerous special projects and publications. A travelling exhibition is currently touring the 13 health and social services agencies that make up the network and has now stopped at Actionmarguerite! A printed souvenir booklet, a special insert in La Liberté, and an interactive website available on a tablet integrated into a portable kiosk are other commemorative elements of the 25th anniversary. Visit the kiosk in person:
Where: DE Dining Room at Actionmarguerite St. Boniface.
When: until July 31, 2025
Over the past 25 years, Réseau Compassion Network has forged its own path, and the exhibition helps us understand and celebrate that journey. When we look at history, we see who we are and where we are going. The exhibition and interactive website collect testimonials, trace the evolution of the Compassion Network — which was originally called the Catholic Health Corporation of Manitoba — and its members, and ultimately showcase the work of the religious congregations that bequeathed them as a legacy.
The idea behind the traveling exhibition is also to help staff, patients, residents, participants, families, and volunteers who benefit from the spirit of the Compassion Network’s mission to learn more about it. Many are unfamiliar with the network and how it has helped shape health and social services in Manitoba. In the RCN’s current vision, members are increasingly working in partnership, building important connections, and sharing best practices and knowledge, all for the benefit of our communities. Sincerely,
Micheline St-Hilaire
