Dear Residents and Families,

 We are happy to share that Actionmarguerite St. Boniface has no COVID-19 outbreaks. We are responding to the ongoing outbreaks at Actionmarguerite St. Vital and St. Joseph and are looking forward to their resolution. We express gratitude to residents, families and staff who are continually exercising their patience and perseverance in meeting the resurgence of outbreaks in long-term care. We bear witness everyday to the ways we care for one another.

Outbreak Status

Actionmarguerite St. Vital

  • The outbreak on the 2nd floor has been resolved.
  • Current outbreaks are on 1st floor and 3rd floor with a total of five (5) active cases.

  • General visits are suspended for all units at Actionmarguerite St. Vital.
  • Designated family caregivers (essential visitors) are welcome to visit residents on all units at their own risk and are asked to wear the personal protective equipment provided during the entirety of their visit.
  • There are currently five (5) staff who are positive and are currently isolating.

 

Actionmarguerite St. Joseph

The outbreak on Unit 2 is now resolved. We are saddened to share that a resident has died related to the outbreaks.  We have offered our condolences to family members as they grieve their loved one.

  • General visits can resume on Unit 2 effective immediately.
  • General visits remain suspended on Unit 1.
  • Designated family caregivers (essential visitors) are welcome to visit Unit 1 at their own risk and are asked to wear the personal protective equipment provided during the entirety of their visit.
  • Two (2) staff are positive and currently isolating.

 

Actionmarguerite St. Boniface

  • No current outbreak.
  • Two (2) employees at Actionmarguerite St. Boniface are positive and are currently isolating.
