Dear Actionmarguerite Families,
COVID-19 Update #2 – January 1, 2022
Actionmarguerite St. Boniface, Actionmarguerite St. Joseph, Actionmarguerite St. Vital
Going forward we will be sending updates regarding all Actionmarguerite sites to our family distribution lists. The intention is to keep everyone informed with the most current information as COVID-19 continues to surge in our community.
Late last evening, we learned that a resident on 4C tested positive for COVID-19 at Actionmarguerite St. Boniface. We have been in contact with the family. We are caring for the resident in their own room where they will be isolating. All residents on 4C will be tested for the presence of COVID-19. We also learned today that an additional resident on 5C has tested positive.
The following COVID-19 outbreaks are being contained and managed:

We want to reinforce that we are being extra vigilant in all our homes these days, responding quickly to any COVID-related exposures to residents or staff, diligently applying our infection prevention and control protocols to mitigate against virus spread, and communicating to you any COVID-related issues that arise.
Our care teams and support teams have been rising to the occasion to contain and manage the outbreaks as best we can, knowing how transmissible the Omicron variant is. We take a moment as the New Year begins to thank our health and support workers, including our leaders for their bravery, commitment, and dedication during this challenging time.
As always, you can reach us at info@actionmarguerite.ca.
May this New Year bring everyone blessings and let us all remain hopeful that the pandemic will indeed come to an end.
